Project Summary:
Equinox delivered an in-depth technology review of 15 carbon capture technologies for suitability in a post-combustion capture scheme for a large fractionation facility.
The study evaluated various technologies against cases for two flowrates, and three gas compositions. The various Technology Licensors provided CO2 Capture, Quench Tower and Amine Reclaimer package specifications based on their technologies.
Using the Kepner Tregoe method of analysis, numerous post-combustion Carbon Capture technologies were evaluated. This included all major chemical absorption (amine solvent) as well as physical adsorption solutions. Both proprietary and non-proprietary technologies were evaluated for suitability.
