Power generation and the subsequent transmission, distribution and utilization of electrical power is a core area of expertise for Equinox. Equinox has a significant background in power generation – ranging from gas-driven turbine generation to solar power generation.
Processing Facility Power Generation
Many of our facility design projects are in remote locations, away from line power and requiring power generation – primarily in the 5 to 60 MW range. Our services included requirements related to power load, generation and distribution within central processing facilities, or to third parties. Many of the gas processing plants we have designed and constructed require electricity generation because the utility grid is not accessible.
