Buried Pipeline
Equinox has extensive knowledge and expertise in all phases of pipeline system design, material selection and construction, ranging from small 3” flowlines and fuel gas lines up to large 36” transportation mainlines. Our expertise includes natural gas pipelines (sweet, sour and acid gas pipelines), NGL, conventional oil, heavy oil, dilbit, refined products, water and steam pipelines.
Equinox provides consultation services from front end engineering design, site and route selection, detailed engineering, procurement and construction management for pipeline projects. Equinox also has significant experience with pipeline facilities including pipeline terminals, pump stations as well as compressor stations.

Nest Three Truck Lines
FEED and Detail Design for the Nest Three Trunk Lines Project. 23 km pipeline extension to Client’s infrastructure that delivers sales gas and condensate to the market. Includes several 6” to 24” pipelines (water, sour gas, sweet gas, lift gas, oil emulsion) with two massive HDDs (2 km x 36” ream and 1.2 km x 42” ream) for major river/creek crossing. Read more…
South Peace Pipeline
Complete EPCM project for 62 mi (100 km) of 20″ sour gas pipeline, with major river crossings; pigging facilities; and complete SCADA design and installation. Notable design features includes producer receipt point water analyzers and a co-mingled production gas H2S & CO2 analysis system. The pipeline is regulated by the National Energy Board.
Tupper Trunklines & Gathering Lines
FEED & Detail Design for 47 mi (75 km) of 16” sour gas, 4” fuel gas and 4” source water pipelines; with 9 major river/creek crossings (using HDD), pigging facilities and complete SCADA design and installation.
KA North Condensate Pipeline
5.6 mi (9 km) x 6” ANSI 600 Carbon Steel; includes pig launcher / receiver, four ESD risers; also includes 57 crossings (roads, power lines, pipelines, watercourse, buried cable)
